As we all know Mikey McArthur was tragically taken from us on Thursday 27th September. Mikey was loved by all and truly was one of a kind. So i feel it would be a fitting tribute to build a memorial of some kind in his name on the island. There has been a massive response to the passing of Mikey and i think thst shows just how much of an amazing person he was and how many peoples lives he touched. I know i will remember him everyday for the rest if my life.

I have set a £2000 target which i think is more than achievable because i know Mikey meant so much to so many people. So I ask everyone to dig deep and pay your respects to this amazing person. Once we have raised enough money I will pass tge money onto Mikeys family Angie, Robert, Mark and Emma and they can decide how they would like to use it.
