I've raised £70000 to Specialised DCT/UCB Immunotherapy treatment

update 1st August 2023 - With the heaviest of hearts, we let you know that our amazing Joe passed peacefully away last night, fighting until the very end. Our time together has been cut cruelly short but I’ll be forever grateful that I got to spend the best 11 years by your side creating memories that I will treasure forever. I’ve lost my soul mate, husband and my best friend and I can’t begin to imagine what life will look like without you, my brave boy. I know you’ll be with me, waiting for me. Until we meet again ❤️
Donations made after we paid for treatment/supplements/machines for Joe will be donated to LOROS who oversaw Joe’s care until he died.
After batting Cancer for the last 3 years, in May 2023 we were given the devastating news that Joe's cancer has progressed to Stage 4 and there was nothing that NHS Leicester could do to treat him. Due to a total lack of support from Leicester Royal Infirmary Oncology, we have had no choice but to take matters into our own hands to find a treatment elsewhere. Regardless of the NHS's attitude, we are not prepared to give up this fight and want to do anything and everything that can help to extend Joe's life.
After researching day and night for the last 10 weeks, connecting with researchers and clinics across the world, we met with a private clinic who have reviewed Joe and hope that that their Dendritic Cell Therapy and Umbilical Cord Blood Derived Natural Killer Cells Therapy (UCB) will help to reduce the number of lesions in Joe's liver, therefore extending his life and improving his quality of life.
As this treatment is so pioneering, it is going to cost at least £30,000 which is why we have set up this Just Giving page to ensure we can say 'yes' as soon as Joe is able to tolerate any treatment. Lots of people have asked us over the last 10 weeks what they can do to help; donating to help us get this treatment to Joe is going to be the biggest help for us right now.
Thank you for taking the time to read this page and we hope you'll be able to donate.
