I grew up in Portsoy when the pool was the place everyone went in the Summer, im sure everyone would agree it was magic! Hot juice, cheese cake and a cheese burger full oh sand is childhood memory a lot of us have. To think this is a possibility to have it up and running again for future generations to have what we had growing up as kids is worth raising money for. On the Summer Solstice 2024 i plan to cycle from England (Berwick on Tweed) up the East coast of Scotland then along the Moray Firth coast finishing at the Pool in Portsoy. The route will cover 500km with over 4000m of elevation, the distance is a challange on its own but i want to try and complete the 500km between sunrise and sunset.
