The Just One Child Orphanage is based in the suburbs of Johannesburg and provides care for children who have lost their families through war, poverty, disease and for those whose parents simply cannot care for them.

JOC create blended family units and through these the children are loved, nurtured, supported and cared for in a normal environment. Many of the children have disabilities and JOC provide specialist care and treatments. JOC places a huge value on the education and personal development of each of these children, providing financing for their schooling and a network of teaching support through volunteers.

Donations to the cause can help to; sponsor a child, contribute to school fees/books/uniform, pay for medical expenses, provide birthday gifts, clothing; food, water and essential care for the children.

We are aiming to raise a total of £5,000 from the 'Charity Quiz Championship'. Currently we're at around £2,000 (ticket sales) and want to reach another £2,000 with Just Giving!! The remaining £1,000 to be raised on Quiz night #BonusBoosters
