I have decided to take on this challenge because I want to raise much needed funds for Fordham cattery 'Rescue, rehab and rehome' in the UK and the 'Safe Haven Egypt'. Who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats both here in the UK and from the streets of Cairo.
I am so moved by the amazing work that these selfless people do. It can be heart breaking and exhausting but they never stop.

There are so many cats on the streets of Cairo and they are in such a bad way, not only homeless and starving but often subject to cruelty and no chance of them finding loving homes in Egypt, so the haven work with an amazing network of people across Europe to sponsor the cats, get them vet treatment they need, find them new homes and arrange their home checks and flights to their new families. We are so thankful to Fordham RRR for the work they do in bringing cats here for fostering until new homes like ours are found. But this is an expensive process and there are always more cats who need help.
