Story
2019 saw Vita Canis Style to Rescue , the first-ever grooming competition for rescue dogs in the UK. We were so happy to be able to raise almost £7500 for the rescues attending and look forward to be able to raise even more in 2020. Our motto is “helping those who cannot help themselves” and unfortunately, rescue dogs who need this help are everywhere!
Vita Canis Style To Rescue is an innovative way of supporting rescue organisations and helping rescues find their new forever homes.
The dogs are groomed beautifully by experienced, professional groomers and spoiled to bits with care and loving-kindness. Of paramount importance to us is that the dogs being groomed always feel safe and loved before, during and after the groom!
The rescues centres receive financial support whether their dogs win or not!
The cherry on our cake last year: we were amazed to be nominated by the grooming industry for their "Event of the Year” in their 2018 achievement awards!
Style to Rescue 2020 will take place on Sunday April 26th at the Stoneleigh Showground in Warwickshire.
Style to Rescue is run on a not for profit basis by volunteers.
