So five (keeps increasing) brave souls decided that they would embark on an amazing challenge, a challenge that men and women had tried in the past and some had failed and some had completed. A challenge so challenging that even the challengers are up for the challenge!! That challenge is THE THREE PEAKS.

Yes that right, Andy Nicol, Kevin Capes, Dave Lamacraft and Jim Coote will be undertaking The Three Peaks Challenge in 2020. Between 18th June - 21st June 2020, Andy Kev, Dave and Jim - with the assistance of Phil Thomas and Keith Coote (our super support team) will be undertaking this great feat to raise funds for two local charities aimed at young people.

So the team:

Andy - Norfolk born and bred - is more use to water than land being ex-Navy but wants to rise to challenge and will ensure that 'all hand are on deck' when keeping the teams momentum going to complete this challenge.

Kevin - Being originally from Scotland, Kev will draw on his inner 'Highland' strength in walking the three mountains - Scarfell Pike, Snowden and Ben Nevis (in his native Scotland) and ensure the other two follow. Kev will sound his deep tones when leading from the front of the pack as he is a good communicator and ex-Army signals.

Dave L - Having just joined the team in January before the challenge in June, Dave will bring his training from his previous RAF role to the team but promises not to "Wing it!" when working to ensure this challenge goes well.

Jim - Having walked Scarfell Pike as a child, Jim will provide experience in The Lake District part of the challenge. Having also worked in enforcement "Evening All", Jim will provide morale to the team and at the same time a 'gentle push' from the rear of the pack - a bit like crowd control.

Phil (Driver, bag carrier, chef eater) - As long as there are cheesy puffs, Phil will go anywhere!!

Keith (Mentor and Team support) - He will support and mentor the team.
