I’m looking to raise funds for 3 Registered Charities

Steve Prescott Foundation supports the Christie and Rugby League benevolent fund.

Sam’s Diamonds Cancer Support which provides community cancer support.

Northwest Miners Heritage Association which supports heritage education and community projects.

I’m not particularly Religious so why the Camino De Santiago ? Nearly 50 years ago I started my working life / adventure joining the Royal Navy and leaving my family for significantly periods, some of the lessons I learnt have given me a long and fruitful working life.

To pull the curtains down on my working life my wonderful family have allowed me one last adventure away from the family, to follow the pilgrim way nearly 500 miles, a last test of stamina, resiliency and reflection.

And someone called it the St James way.

I’m looking for small businesses to sponsor a stage of the 33 stage trek, in return for social media shout outs / advertising on the stage day. Then any donations from family friends and general public.
