I've raised £300 to help working horses in Egypt

As the season draws to a close I am heading back out into the big, wide and not always so beautiful world to help out at two deserving equine charities in Egypt. Serving a very poor and uneducated population, working horses are taking the brunt of the country's political and economic crisis and through lack of knowledge, resources and compassion are being subject to unimaginable suffering. I had an amazing time in India last winter but ended up feeling overwhelmed and disheartened by the scale and complexity of the poverty millions of people and animals around the world have to face everyday and came back even more determined to use my passion for horses to help. I am trying to raise some money to share as a donation between the equine hospitals at Animal Care Egypt in Luxor and Egypt Equine Aid in Cairo, where I will be helping out in person, to help fund life saving and life changing work for these poor, poor horses and their struggling owners.
