Story
The Jersey scout band is the youngest marching band in the Channel Islands, providing both marching skills and musical tuition to the young people of Jersey, aged 8 and upwards. Previously only open to young people involved in scouting, we have recently become our own separate scout group, enabling anyone to join, exemplifying the inclusion ethos of scouting.
The band has represented Jersey both nationally, performing at Windsor, as well as at the Battle of Flowers in Guernsey and Jersey, and Internationally, regularly attending the Fete De Fleurs in La Haye Pesnel and have performed at Disneyland Paris twice. We endeavour to continue advertising our small island to all through musical alliances and performances. We are due to attend the Fete De Fleurs again this year and are therefore appealing for support.
We are seeking to raise funds to help subsidise costs for those within the band who cannot afford the contributions we need to facilitate the trip. Any excess sponsorship funds raised for this trip will be used to buy new instruments or help to pay for future travels, such as to the Guernsey battle of flowers 2020.
We would be grateful for any support you may be able to offer us.

The scout band offers a great opportunity for youngsters in Jersey to learn and play a musical instrument. It's is freely open to all youngsters in the Island, not just scouts. Well done!
