I have been offered a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have been offered the chance to train and perform with the international company Teatro Valdoca in Venice for two weeks in July next year. The trip will cost around £1200 overall including travel and accommodation. Half of this cost is provided by the University for undergraduates but unfortunately for me, as a graduate not undertaking any post-grad study there is nothing available. I have exhausted all of my leads from the University as to possible funding so I am now turning to my family and friends for help.

I worked extremely hard through University to achieve a first class degree and I am amazingly grateful to have been offered this opportunity. Only two students (including me) have been offered this chance from my course and I am determined to seize this opportunity. Now I understand that this money is not going to a charity and that this is cause can come across as self-indulgent. However at the moment I am working three jobs to try and raise as much money as possible on my own but I don't think I could make enough to cover the whole trip.

So I am asking my dear friends and family for help. As it is coming up to Christmas, I am asking anyone that would have bought me a present (Secret Santa or otherwise) to please donate to this page instead. Or if anyone is feeling super generous please just chip in what you can. Any donation helps me massively and brings me one step closer to being able to travel on this amazing trip.
