Story
We would be the ONLY dedicated Advocacy service in Scotland for Addictions & Mental Health. We have been self funded for the last 4 years and have developed the FIRST SQA Accredited Advocacy Award for all the protected characteristics in Advocacy.
We also have SQA Accredited Centre Status this is extremely hard to do NONE of the major charities/advocacy services in Scotland have this status. We are a grassroots peer-led charity of people affected directly or indirectly of addiction & mental health.
We are made up of family members also, family members or loved ones are so important in the recovery journey of the individual going through addiction or mental health issues. We believe that Recovery from addiction is and does happen with the right support/education and representation.
