Run for Vision: Help Me Fight Choroideremia

Hello everyone! My name is Jay, and I am on a mission to raise awareness for Choroideremia, a rare genetic retinal disease that I have been living with. As an avid runner, I've always believed in the power of movement and determination. Now, I am turning my passion into purpose by participating in the upcoming Great Scottish Run on Sunday 6th October.

Choroideremia affects my vision and can lead to blindness over time. Currently, there is no known cure, but research and clinical trials are underway that could change the lives of those affected. By supporting my crowdfunding campaign, you’ll not only be helping me achieve my personal running goal but also contributing to treatments that could lead to breakthroughs in choroideremia therapies.

I aim to raise £1000 to fund private treatment with the hope that some of my eyesight can be restored, allowing me to see my son again and hopefully long term help finding a cure for Choroideremia.
