Story

Hi thank you for visiting my page my name is Jason Robbins and i work for ABP on Immingham docks, i just want to tell you a bit about Jeanie-may. Jeanie-May is a 7 year old girl from Cleethorpes and also family . In October 2017 she wasn't feeling well, so her mum took her to the GP to get checked over. The GP checked her over and she was admitted to Grimsby hospital. After tests Jeanie-may was transferred via blue lights to Sheffield children's hospital where she was then diagnosed with leukaemia. After lots of chemotherapy and steroids which jeanie-may coped with amazingly she was then in maintenance stage. Jeanie-may then started to complain of pains in her foot, after tests it was confirmed that the pains in Jeanie-mays foot was a secondary cancer, hystotic sarcoma. This cancer us very rare with 0.8 cases in 1 million. It was then decided that Jeanie-may would need a through the knee amputation, she has coped amazingly with this. Jeanie-may is now at home with her parents and sister.
I'm running the ABP half marathon in cleethorpes to help raise funds towards a prosthetic leg for Jeanie-may. The pain that i feel in the ABP half marathon will be nothing what she has had to deal with..

Any donation is more than welcome.

Thank you for reading my story

jason
