Story

Motorpoint is hosting a special charity football match at the ABAX Stadium, home of Peterborough United Football Club, on Wednesday 29th May. This is to raise money so that our colleague Jason Brown can buy a brand new wheelchair.

Jason is one of the loveliest people you will ever meet. He has a nerve wasting degenerative condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease which causes muscle wastage in both lower arms and legs. Jason urgently requires a new wheelchair, one that provides motorised assistance, so that he can enjoy the quality of life that so many of us take for granted.

However, this type of wheelchair is not cheap and will cost £8,000! But, Motorpoint has generously agreed to match pound for pound every penny raised, which is why we have set the target at £4,000. We would be delighted if you could support our fundraiser. It doesn’t matter how much you give, it’s the thought that counts and just think about the difference the wheelchair could make to Jason, Jaz and the rest of his family.
