The Delting jarl squad are collectively deadlifting 20 Tonne during Up-Helly-Aa day on March 17th raising money for both 'Mind your head' and 'The little princess trust'.

The significance behind this event marks 20 years since the passing of Guizer Jarl Dwayne Davies' late uncle, Karl Johnson. Lifting 1 tonne for each year since his passing. Monies raised will be donated to 'Mind your head', a fantastic local charity which helps people with mental health and bodes very close to the family.

They also are raising money for 'The little princess trust' as well as making hair donations later in the year. Guizer Jarl Dwayne Davies will be shaving his 8 year hair growth at the Voe Show in August.

Selected squad members will also brave the shave on Sunday 19th of March, losing both hair & beard growth grown over the past 4 years.
