Story

My cousins eldest son Kaiden, age 12 has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that occurs in muscle tissue.

He has been receiving treatment in Alder Hey Liverpool and proton therapy in America. Ronald McDonald House Charity has supported them as a family both here and in America, ensuring they can be close to Kaiden at all times in a comfortable environment that is as normal as is possible.

Having a sick child can impact families across all areas of their lives. Time, money, stress, loss of education and loss of earnings are but a few of the ways in which families can be affected by their child being cared for in hospital. The charity works with parents to allow them to focus on supporting their child and minimise any added stress on a families already dealing with so much.

My Father and I, and my children Arthur, Tabitha and Barnaby will therefore be asking for sponsorship while we complete our own personal challenges.

In September my Dad (Olivier) will be tackling the 86km London to Brighton cycle ride and I will be running The Great North Run Half Marathon. Arthur, Tabitha and Barnaby will be running the Mini Great North Run.

Any support would be greatly received. Thanks in advance!!! Xx
