Many thanks to all who have donated to the Jane Duffield bursary - we've achieved our goal of £2,500 on Justgiving, and also have more than £1000 in the Camden Guides bank account - so that's a huge result. We should be able to provide a lot of support for future guides who are unable to afford the full cost of CTGA and CIGA courses, and broaden the base of tour guides in London.

Huge thanks to everyone, and we've now officially achieved our target - because as well as the £1,300 currently listed here, we have collected £1,290 from donations to the CTGA bank account. And the £2,500 target will be matched on a £1:£1 basis by both CTGA and CIGA - so we're now over £7,500. We're still keen to see more donations - the more we collect, then the more bursaries we can provide to future students. The appeal on Justgiving will remain open for the time being. David Brown
