I have decided in june 2018 that i will climb Snowdon in Wales, why??? It will be in memory of my beloved Pet dog Roo the chihuahua whom i lost in January. Anyone who knows me knew that Roo was such a big part of my life we did everything together. A challenge for me as i hate heights and i will do it lone to conquer my fear.

In fact Roo would have done this with me, so for that reason i wont be totally on my own as i will be taking my boy little Harry the chihuahua, hes a wonderful sweet natured dog not quite the adventurer that Roo was but he has a zest for life.

“Hike with Harry “is what it will be known as and all money that i raise will be donated to Therapy Dogs Nationwide.

Roo was a Therapy Dog, a very good one, twice being runner up for his work at Crufts, he was also the winner of “Best Friend of the Year” with Dogs Monthly magazine and he also got to the last 30 dogs in the search for Toto by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for his production of The Wizard of Oz. Also appearing in a book by Margaret Greening called The Chihuahua.

Therapy Dogs Nationwide is a charity that is run by volunteers who take their temprement assessed dogs to visit people in hospitals, hospices, carehomes, schools, special needs establishments and even prisons.

The money i raise will help the charity fund more dogs to visit and help people who are less forunate. It will go towards purchase of stationery, banners, show tents and anything that will help promote this very worthwhile charity. So please consider if your ever lonely in hospital or have a relative that may end up with dementia or sadly a stroke patient then ten minutes of a dogs time can be worth a week .

I am planning to try and raise £500.00but if this amount gets to £800.00 i will change clothes at the top and come down dressed as the sound of music nun... Climbing every mountain!!

I have been asked the question if it triples , what will i do well i will have a minature wimple made for Harry!!
