Story

In November 2017 Liz had an extraordinarily unlucky accident whilst swimming in a calm sea in Barcelona. She was caught by a current, dragged underwater and she cracked her head on the hard sand. She sustained a neck trauma that damaged her spinal cord resulting in paralysis of her limbs. She has spent the following months in hospital desperately working at regaining some movement and strength.

She is passionate about the outdoors, loves photography, exploring and dog walking. Since the accident, it has been very difficult for Liz to access the outdoors so we are trying to raise money to buy her an all-terrain mobility trike so she can regain her independence.

Thank you for reading this. Your generosity will make a huge difference to Liz's life.
