Story
In April of this year our Mum had a stroke which left her with limited speech and range of movement on her right hand side. She was admitted to the Stroke Rehabilation Unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. She received outstanding care and support from an incredibly dedicated team of nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists. This impressive level of care continued when our Mum returned home. With this support, her very determined nature and the help of our amazing Dad, Mum has made a truly remarkable recovery in a very short period of time. On Sunday 30th September my Mum, my sister and myself are taking part in the Great Scottish Run (thankfully we are walking)! We would like to raise money to help stroke victims and their families receive the same care which our Mum did. We wish to donate the money raised to Inverclyde Stroke Rehabilation Unit and are very grateful for your support. Thank you.
