I have always suffered with anxiety, but in 2008 i was signed of work by my doctor from my full time job at the local council, due to being bullied by management in to signing a predated statement in a case of gross misconduct.

I was unable to return to work sadly due to my illness. I then sort help from the DWP, at 1st i failed the ATOS medical. But i took it to tribunal and won, so i spent the next 3/4 years each week going to see PA who said they would write be a CV and help me. In the years of going i never got my CV done my health got worse In fact due to money worries.

It was time for my medical again which again i failed, but this time ( i did not know ) i was not paying my stamp or in receipt of any monies. I used what little savings i had left to go to the tribunal again. This time unlike the last time it was very unfriendly ( i was signed of by my GP ) while this was going on 2017 so 9/10 years after this all began.

At the tribunal i was told “ im a young man “ ( i was 42 ) the man who i would say was 60s Said to me “ pull your socks up and get on with it “ which is not what anyone with a mental health conditions needs. We need support and understanding.

So after 2 years of fighting this i lost the case and all of my savings. Yes i understand how it was my choice i really was very well and this made my condition worse.

Im getting back on track im still taking medication for my illness. Thats it in a nut shell if you would like anymore details please feel free to ask and i will seek to answer them.
