As some of you may know. Unfortunately we had a serious emergency incident outside The D&D on Sunday 12th March. A gentleman was walking past and unfortunately suffered a fatal heart attack. Medically trained customers were in that day. And they tried their hardest to save Mr Downie. We also tried to gain access to the defibrillators located nearby, but were not successful. The emergency services arrived in very quick time, but unfortunately were unable to revive Mr Downie.

This unfortunate incident has made us realize that their is a need for a defibrillator in our area of the town center.

We are now raising the funds to have one installed on the outside of The D&D permanently. With the code available in all surrounding businesses & registered with the correct services.
