We invite you today to raise a glass to my son Jamie Allenby. We're a family, probably much like your own. We work hard and pay our bills, mostly on time. Like most of you, there's not much left after those bills are paid.

Jamie is a good kid that fell in love with playing rugby when he was 8 years old, through some great community spirit and outstanding coaching both at club and school level he has achieved some success at the sport.

Jamie has been agressively recruited by 7 of the top D1 NCAA universities in the USA! Beyond his wildest dreams these colleges have offered Jamie scholarships to get a first rate education as well as contribute towards the exciting future of rugby in the United States.

As you can imagine we are overjoyed at the potential of his future. Jamie's is a real tale of blood, sweat and tears, of overcoming adversity and never losing sight of your dreams.

Today we are asking that if you can, you please donate the cost of your favourite drink in your local pub and raise a glass to Jamie. For his resilience, his fortitude, his success and most importantly for his future.

All funds we recieve will go a long way to helping us make this happen for him. Scholarships are amazing but we have to find the means to get him out there, flights, visas, insurance etc... along with the costs of relocating all add up and I'm afraid it's money that we do not have.

I appreciate these are difficult financial times for all of us, but if you can raise a glass to support a good kid's dreams then we will be eternally grateful to you for doing so.
