I am isla, i am 8 years old and this is my amazing dog, Luna! She is a happy, playful, and sometimes mischievous Lurcher. Things could have been very different for Luna, if it wasn't for the hard work and dedication of places like Munlochy animal aid.

Luna was found, abandoned in the woods near inverness airport, underweight, cold and scared, she was under a year old when she was abandonded. After being found by passing walkers she was taken in and cared for by Munlochy Animal aid. My mum and dad seen a post about Luna‘s story and that she needed a loving new home and the rest is history.

Luna has become my best furry friend and is always involved in all the family adventures and lots of cuddles too! Munlochy animal aid rescued Luna when she needed help the most and i would like to do my bit to help give the next lost or abandoned pet a second chance. This month, the month of March, i am challenging myself to walk/run 50 miles to raise funds for their cause. I hope to reach £350, but anything i can make will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference to the next animal in need. Thank you. X
