Phang Nga Elephant Park is a small family-run Park. Our family has cared for elephants for over 150 years, animal welfare is paramount at Phang Nga Elephant Park. We consider that responsible and ethical elephant tourism will help to save the Asian elephant, but requires the highest level of care and husbandry. We are AGAINST all unnatural and abusive practices and strive constantly to improve animal welfare and to promote education.

Over the last difficult 15 months we have done everything possible to maintain the highest welfare standards at Phang Nga Elephant Park even though COVID-19 hit us very hard with no visitor income whatsoever.

We are raising £60 to help Feed an Elephant for a week (one truck load of pineapple leaves) at PhangNga Elephant Park in Thailand. There are 10 elephants at the Park (including three welfare cases we have taken in) and our aim is to raise sufficient money to feed them through the Pandemic. Please can you help? We have a long way to go before Southern Thailand recovers from the pandemic and we anticipate we will have to feed our elephants for many months.

But a vaccine is close and we feel we can really start to be positive about the future and look forward to welcoming visitors again to this beautiful Park but this is unlikely to be before the middle of 2022.
