Story

After developing anxiety & depression during my pregnancy, I truly had hoped that it would be 'cured' as soon as my son was born. Unfortunately, this was not the case and after 4 months, I was diagnosed with postnatal depression. Renley is now 16 months old and after being prescribed 3 different antidepressants,  several  relapses and visits to with a Psychiatrist, I am still being assessed by the NHS mental health team, to get me onto the right treatment plan.

And that is why the charity that I am raised money for is so close to my heart...

PANDAS Foundation provide services for families who are affected by prenatal and postnatal mental illnesses, including support groups and a dedicated helpline. With PND awareness week just around the corner, I'd like to raise awareness of mental health illnesses around parenthood, by raising funds to donate directly to this incredibly useful cause.

What are we doing?

Me and my son, Renley, are doing a sponsored "toddle" to raise money for the Pandas Foundation.
