Date of challenge: 20/05/2023
1st Garforth Scout leaders Jack & Connor are attempting to run the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge in under 6 hours, to help raise funds for their scout group. Funds will be put towards the likes of new camping equipment and camping trips themselves for the scouts.
Hiking this 24.5 mile route usually takes between 8-12 hours to complete, so I'm sure you'll agree, the gruelling task of running it in under 6 hours is one worth a sponsor!
Scouts are a self funded volunteer organisation, who rely on fundraising and charitable donation in order to thrive and provide programmes for children in their local community. Any donation, no matter how small goes a long way!
