Story
On the 24th of April I will be running the London Marathon...
Last year some of the team in Single Aisle worked with residents of the Clwyd Alyn Housing Association and got to see the great work that is done by the charity (reg. no. 22360R). Clwyd Alyn runs Supported Living Projects which offer temporary, emergency accommodation to people who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness, across North Wales.
Clwyd Alyn is currently in the process of organising its annual 'ResFest' festival - which is run for all the young people based within the Supported Living Projects (SLPs). The event gives people who have previously experienced homelessness the opportunity to showcase their talents and attend a number of themed workshops. This gives the residents a real opportunity to celebrate their talents and build confidence, helping them to set and achieve new goals.
I think this is a very worthy cause and please consider donating what you can. It will definitely help spur me on for 26 long miles!
Thank you,
Jack
