    Story

Replacing the stolen roof - St Mary’s church, Furneux Pelham

The Parochial Church Council has approval from all the regulatory authorities to replace the stolen lead with Terne Coated Stainless Steel. The accepted tender is £97,000 including fees.

Thank you to everyone who gave so generously at fund raising events or by donating, together with reserves we have £68,000 towards the costs.

These are difficult times, and all of us have many calls on our finances, but we remain £29,000 short to commence the works and save the building from further damage.

Once more we are appealing for help, any donation however small would be gratefully received.
