This fundraiser is organized by Rhoda Amezado on behalf of the Fafali Organization for Julienne Afi Amezado. You have the chance to sow a seed of hope into the lives of thousands of most vulnerable in Ghana during hard times.

Julienne Afi Amezado known as Afi has been invited by R&A to participate in The Junior Golf Championship, 2022. The Open will be from July 11 – 13, 2022 at Monifieth Golf Links, Scotland, UK. She will be representing Ghana and the Ghana Golf Association after winning all the major tournaments in the country.

Her invitation to The Junior Golf Championship has brought hope to over 5,000 children directly in her community and for the millions of children in the whole of Ghana. She is currently the symbol of hope for her peers, her school, and her entire community. Due to her achievement, the waiting list for girls who want to participate in Fafali’s Golf & Goal project has increased by 600%.

The invitation, though great in all aspects, comes with a lot of financial responsibilities. Since, the announcement of her invitation to the tournament, the Fafali Organization spends an average of £45 ($55) per day for her training and preparation; transportation, training, feeding, tournaments, course fee and so on.

Afi’s parents are poor with no stable employment and they live in the slums of Kissehman, Ghana; public shower, public toilet, and a single bedroom to contain a family of eight. Until recently when her school was changed by the Fafali Organization, she used to go to one of the worst schools in her school district.

With that being said, Afi needs your help to achieve her dreams and your contributions go beyond her achieving her dreams but you would be giving hope to thousands, if not millions of children, especially girls.

Your donation will help Afi to continue her preparation; transportation, training and coaching fee, feeding, equipment, tournaments, course fee, and clothes.

Your donation will also help her to arrive in the UK early to continue her preparation which is needed to help her to minimize the culture shock, get acclimatized with the weather, get some coaching from a UK professional coach and also play on different golf links before the tournament. Ghana, as a country has no golf links, and the closest Afi, has come to play on a link is by training at the beach here in Ghana.
