I've raised Β£2500 to for the butterfly room at Kingsmill hospital and the bereavement services which support families who have suffered the loss of a baby ππ¦π

Islaβs butterfly room challange ππββοΈπ¦
5 months ago today our world fell apart, Laura was 39 1/2 weeks pregnant and we thought our bundle of joy was about to arrive, tragically our babies heart had stopped beating. Isla May Waterhouse was born sleeping with the angels on January 11th πππ
We were and still are completely heartbroken, Isla was perfect in every way.
Kingsmill hospital and their staff were amazing, we spent 2 nights in a special room on Sherwood birthing unit, the Butterfly room π¦ which allowed us to spend some time with Isla creating some precious memories that we will cherish in our heart forever ππ
We cannot describe to you the importance of the Butterfly room to families that suffer a loss of a baby in the Mansfield and Ashfield area. The room is funded through donations and supported by an amazing group of midwifes and charities.
In July we are going to be trying to raise money for this amazing facility so that it can continue to support families who suffer the most unimaginable loss.
I am going to run every day in July, all 31 days in total, during the week I will be running 5kβs and then at the weekends a 10k. This will mean I will run 9 10kβs and 22 5kβs hitting 200km for the month πββοΈ
To help raise as much awareness and money as possible I am going to run with a different person or group of people each day. We currently have over 70 amazing people who have agreed to run with me.
We will be sharing my progress throughout the month, hopefully my ageing body will do our baby girl proud π₯² ππ₯²π
Lots of love Dan, Laura, Alfie and Isla xxx
