We are excited to announce that we have taken up Active Live= Healthy Minds challenge- to raise funds for Deafscope Link CIC .
We are reaching out for donations to support The Active Life= healthy Minds challenge in bid to fundraise for Deafscope to enable us to continue providing future services to the Deaf and Deaf usher community.
Reaching the target will enable us to have a 3 year plan plan to keep Deafscope Link CIC running and continue to provide our services, workshops, training, educational courses to the Deaf and Deaf usher community.
Deafscope takes great pride in supporting the Deaf and Deaf Usher community ensuring they have equal accessible opportunities connecting the Deaf community and empowering Deaf people to reach their full potential.
It is our top priority to keep Deafscope alive with your help
Covid -19 lockdown has been tough on the mind and body especially the Deaf and Deaf Usher community, feeling isolated for over 4 months. It is time to get together and support each other reaching out to our community.
The challenge involves two Deaf men, one of them being Deaf usher, cycling on a tandem bike from the West Midlands to Wales and all the way round the Welsh coastline. This is to raise awareness about keeping active and healthy to get a stronger body and mind.
The two gentlemen who are taking part in the challenge are called Ishtiaq Hussain and Daniel jay –Cropp.
Ishtiaq and Daniel will be uploading daily vlogs of their journey.
The challenge will start On Monday 24th 2020 from Stourbridge.
