The objective is to encourage young boys in my community to take more interest in their school work. Basically, these boys love to play football but some of them are underprivileged and do not have means to be in school or to even have the basic school essentials.

So the football team is a way to bring them together in game spirit in the same time monitoring their progress in school. I also want to use this as a channel to get SPONSORSHIP for these children and several others who are in the same situation.

Some may ask, what led me to do this? why did I choose football?why not start a charity organisation instead?

I love sports and these children love sports as well. So getting them actively involved in a sport they like while helping them make the right grades in school, I believe these children will not only grow up staying out of crime but will also largely impart their community and lead as examples for other other boys like them.

I also believe that all children need love and support to make them better people but I have noticed that a lot of concentration is given to the girl child which of course is very good and I one hundred percent support, but I think that sometimes this is at the disadvantage of the boys who similarly need much attention. So, I am trying to do what I can in my own little way. People need to understand that sport is not an escape route to good education that is why my team seeks academic excellence while building their talent.
