I've raised £100 to aid disadvantaged and deaf kids attain an education at the Eduplex School in Pretoria, South Africa.

On 3rd of August I will be completing one of the toughest cycling challenges of my life. I will be cycling 1700 kms in 10 days and gain over 30,000 m in altitude as part of the Swiss charity ride 'Spendenmarathon' organised by Jens Blatter that aims to raise money to help disadvantaged and deaf kids attain an education at the Eduplex School in Pretoria in South Africa. The vision of the Eduplex School is to serve as a model for inclusive education internationally by offering an extensive curriculum and diverse curriculum and providing opportunities for its students.
I wanted to complete a charity cycle ride for a long time and I am excited to do this Spendenmarathon which will be a Tour de Swiss and provide the opportunity to cycle through some awe-inspiring landscapes and beautiful but also brutal climbs. The Tour will start in the town of Visp and follow the roads towards the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Then via Jura, Blackforest we will cycle to roads towards eastern Switzerland where the journey will culminate with the challenge of crossing the epic Passo Stelvio. After this the journey leads back again to the heart of Switzerland, in Tessin, and on the10th day back to the town of Saas-Fee on 12th of August.
I will keep you up to date of our progress on social media!
