*Help Me Save Sparta – My Friend's’s Beloved English Bull Terrier*

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted animal lovers,

I’m reaching out with a plea to help save Sparta, my friend Kamila's beautiful English Bull Terrier. She was born on 22 June 2022 and has been the heart and soul of her family ever since.

Sparta isn’t just a dog; she’s Kamila's childhood dream come true and a best friend to her two children, Freddie (3) and Liliana. Freddie, who will turn 4 in April, lovingly calls her *his dog*. They have the most special bond, and the thought of losing her is unbearable for all of them.

In September of last year, they suffered the devastating loss of their beloved dog Luna. That loss broke Kamila, and it was only the love and companionship of Sparta and their other dog, Mellow, that kept her going through the darkest of times. Kamila has told me that she can honestly say they saved her when she felt I couldn’t save herself.

Now, Sparta is the one who needs saving. She required urgent surgery that her insurance doesn’t cover, and the costs are overwhelming — £5,000 to have an obstruction removed from her oesophagus where it meets the stomach, which was completely stopping her from eating and even drinking. Even now, the site is still inflamed and very sore and there may be further complications.

I am turning to you for help because I really want to help Kamila but I can't do this alone. Every little bit will make a difference and bring us closer to giving Sparta the chance to live the happy, healthy life she deserves.
