We are a group of friends raising funds in loving memory of Maddy Smith to donate to Sisters United, a group she helped set up to support women and their families living in Calderdale, West Yorkshire.

Maddy was a natural empath, a lifelong activist, and a fierce protector of women's rights. She dedicated her working life to supporting women who had experienced trauma and helped set up Sisters United in Calderdale some years ago so this group was very close to her heart.

She was also a lovely friend to so many and someone who made a difference in the world. Donations will be gratefully received in cash on the day at Maddy's funeral on 28th November 2023 at the Birchcliffe Centre, Hebden Bridge but if you are unable to attend please consider making a donation in Maddy's memory via this link. .We know times are hard right now but any donation, no matter the amount, will be most gratefully received and will be a lovely way of remembering and honouring your friendship with her.
