It is with the deepest of hearts I am writing this and setting up this fundraiser on behalf of Florence. Baby Hugo's life was sadly taken at just 6 days old, after a courageous fight, he finally grew his wings and went to heaven... a life cut too short, I have spoken to Florence about setting up a fundraiser and she has asked that all money raised is donated to the NICU at NNUH.

Heartbreakingly Hugo's fight came to an end but the NICU work so hard to help so many little babies and many go on to live happy healthy lives. We will keep Hugo's memory alive forever and on behalf of Florence, Joe and their families... any donation would be greatly appreciated as all of this will help save other babies lives and give them the best care possible.

"To our gorgeous baby boy Hugo, you are the most beautiful, courageous and strong little boy in the whole entire world and you will be in all our hearts forever and touched the hearts of so many. But unfortunately you lost the fight after being SO strong for SO long. I just can't believe it and I really don't want too. You made mummy and daddy so happy and filled our hearts with so much love and joy and you will always, ALWAYS been in our hearts and I can promise you we will never forget about you, you were truly one in a million. You will always be our baby boy. I just wish we could have brought you home and laying next to your empty cot breaks me. Nothing will ever prepare you to be leaving your precious baby boy at the hospital and coming home to a house full of your things, never felt so empty. Our hearts hurt so much, you deserved the world but you were far too good for this cruel world. We love you more than anything in the entire world Hugo Paul Max Mark Balfour.
