Our beautiful, beloved Mum, Elaine, tragically passed away very suddenly on Mother’s Day, Sunday 14th March 2021 at the cruelly young age of 59.

Due to the unexpected nature of her passing, unfortunately no insurance policies or Funeral plans were in place, and we have since found out that our Dad, Richard, is not eligible for help towards costs from the Government. As you can imagine, this is an absolutely devastating time for our family and the least we want to do is to be able to give our fantastic Mum, Wife & Nan the proper farewell that she deserves.

Therefore, we have set up this JustGiving page to ask our family and friends if, instead of sending cards/flowers, that you please consider donating any small amount you possibly can, in order to help towards costs such as Headstone & Funeral services.

We are so thankful for the thoughtful messages of sympathy received so far, and cannot even begin to express our gratitude and appreciation if you can support us with this cause, no matter how small, anything will be a huge help. Please rest assured that any donations marked anonymous are kept in the strictest of confidence, even from the recipient if you choose. Everyone’s financial circumstances are different, and we are aware that it is a very difficult time for many. So please, please understand that there is no expectation on anyone to donate, and no one should feel in anyway obligated. If all you have to give are your thoughts, prayers, love and appreciation for our wonderful Mum, then that is equally appreciated.

Due to lockdown, unfortunately there are limited numbers able to attend our Mum’s service, and we know it will be difficult for family who live further afield as they cannot travel. Therefore, we will arrange for a video link so anyone who would like to attend the ceremony can do so remotely, and we will ensure the link is shared to this page along with the date and time.
