Our beautiful sister Danielle left this world at 1.15am on Saturday 17th of June 2017, after a long 26 year fight. We would love to be able to raise enough funds to help with the cost of a memorial bench for everyone to enjoy, as she holds such a special place in so many hearts. We would also like to donate any excess funds to The Royal Marsden Hospital, a place very dear to Danielle and so many others.

At 7 years old, Danielle was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a milgnant tumour inside her brain. However, being the brave girl she always was, she took it in her stride and underwent surgery, followed by chemo therapy and radio therapy, in the hope that the dreaded C would be gone. Unfortunately, what we didn't know was that this would only be the beginning of Danielles 26 year fight for her life.

At 10 years old, Danielle was then diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukaemia, an aggressive blood cancer that is extremely uncommon in children. Despite this, she fought so hard and she conquered.

However, at 15, Danielle was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer and underwent major surgery, removing her colon and a Ileostomy bag was fitted. In this time, our Danielle suffered a Stroke which was brought on by Bacterial Meningitis. After 4 months in rehabilitation, she was allowed home in the hope that she could begin to reconstruct her life. She got her GCSE's, and she earned distinctions at college (something we thought she would never do.)

At 22, we were told the Cancer was back in her Gallbladder, which had spread to her liver. Her Gallbladder was removed and after one of the hardest fights she's had to face, she conquered. But Danielles continuous fight left her almost profoundly deaf, as well as leaving her suffering from Epilepsy that affected her life daily.

Sadly after hoping the fight would be over, 2 weeks ago Danielle came down with Bacterial Menigitis and Pneumonia, taking her from this cruel world peacefully on Saturday 17th of June.
