Story
As many of you know Dad was diagnosed with an incurable Brain Tumour and given only months to live. Weston Hospice provided unbelievable support and care for Dad, Mum and the family. It was his wish to give a donation to the hospice. Only 20% of their funding comes from the NHS, the remaining has to come from donations and fund raising.
We would like to try and raise enough funds to buy some equipment for the hospice and donate it in Dad’s memory. We have set an ambitious target and hope that you could see to donate whatever you can as we strive to achieve one last thing for him. Without the hospice Dad’s last few months would have been considerably worse, they treated him with the love, dignity, care and respect that he, or anyone in his position, deserved. Cancer can affect anyone, no matter of gender, age or religion. This is a fantastic organisation that deserve the financial support to keep offering their incredible care to others.
In his last days he had the use of a specialist chair that enabled him to stand, lie down and get relief from the pain, and this is what we would like to try and raise funds to donate in his memory.
Thank you to you all for your kind words and support in the last few difficult months
Sue, Stuart, Simon, Andrew, Sarah, Chloe, Gemma and all the Grandchildren. xx
