On Saturday 6th November Jacinta Namataka unfortunately passed away in unexpected circumstances. Jacinta developed an infection in hospital, but tragically the early signs of infection went unrecognised leading to sepsis - a life threatening reaction to the infection.

Jeffrey and Jacinta only got married 6 months ago and looked forward to a beautiful and long life together. Jeffrey is now faced with not only this immeasurable heartache, but also with the financial implications that losing a loved one brings.

£30,000 will help Jeffrey and Jacinta's family with the costs of the memorial/ funeral service, repatriation of Jacinta back to Uganda, legal fees to cover the pursuit of justice for Jacinta, as well as helping Jeffrey relocate to a new place. If he wishes, this fund could also be used towards bereavement support.

Jeffrey and Jacinta's love was like an epic love story - both of them giving so much meaning and purpose to one and other's lives. And as many of you know, Jacinta was a force of life who radiated light and magnetic energy wherever she went.

We are hoping that we can all pull together to make this just a little bit easier on Jeffrey and on Jacinta's family.
