We were all shocked to the core to find out that our beautiful colleague and friend, Emily Bushbye, had passed away unexpectedly on Sunday 23rd July, at just 23 years old. Emily leaves behind her 3 year old daughter, Hailey, who was her absolute world and her reason for living. Although we are all struggling to make sense of what has happened, we can't imagine how difficult Hailey's life will be to grow up without her lovely mum, so we would like to do whatever we can to try to make this easier for her, and to show her family that Emily was more than a colleague to us.

Emily came to us as an apprentice on the Central Admin team, quickly moving over to our DWPfS team and being promoted all within the space of a matter of months. She was a fiery, determined, funny, kind young woman who has left a gaping whole in our team, and we are all well and truly heartbroken to not have her with us.

Emily was very proud to be able to provide for Hailey, and of their life together, only wanting the very best for her. To continue to honour this, we would like to raise as much money as possible to support Hailey with anything that she may need, whether that be now or in the future.

Any contributions to this worthwhile cause would be greatly appreciated. All money raised will be given to Emily's mother, who is now caring for Hailey.
