A dear friend, Louise was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer while pregnant with her son 18 months ago. The prognosis was not good but for the last 18 months we have been fundraising so that she could have alternative treatments and buy herself time to spend with her new son. This fundraiser was aimed at ensuring Louise could continue her treatment. Devastatingly on Tuesday 16th May, Louise lost her battle and died at home. She was only 32 and leaves behind a 16 month old son. We are still planning on going ahead with the fundraiser as her fiancé and son are in real financial strife because of the last 18 months and we want to be able to ease the pressure on them at this awful time.
