Imagineering is an education charity

raising funds to set up fun hands-on engineering Clubs in schools in under-privileged areas.

The Imagineering Foundation, originally set up by engineers, introduces 8-16 year olds to the exciting world of engineering and technology through fun, hands-on activities, especially in after-school Imagineering Clubs for 8-12 year olds. Pupils learn about engineering and technology by making special working models they can take home, using simple tools and learning basic skills. The projects all link to the National Curriculum too but also to aspects of real life.

There is a desperate need for skilled engineers at all levels of society and manufacturing sectors but we have to catch potential engineers at a young age to inspire them to choose the right subjects to study and to learn how rewarding a career in modern manufacturing, engineering and technology can be.
