Story
Ilkeston Cold Weather Shelter
Currently there is no provision in the Ilkeston area for homeless people in the coldest months of the year. We know there is a need, and its growing. By donating to this new project you will make a difference and even perhaps save a life.

6 years agoA big thank you to everyone who donated, the money raised pays for the staff, electric, gas & water for a week. Originally we planned to be open from Christmas day to Valentine's day, but because of your generosity the shelter can now stay open until the 28th February. A big thank you for making a huge difference.

Instead of spending the money on Christmas cards I have decided this year to make a donation to the Ilkeston Winter Shelter. Merry Christmas xx

Decided to cut down on Christmas presents this year, we would rather donate what we would have spent on them to the winter shelter.
