I've raised £100000 to Contribute to the work of Kent Help for Ukraine (KHFU) to supply humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine.

As events in Ukraine unfold, the humanitarian crisis deepens. Ukraine’s people and communities are in desperate need of help. Kent Help for Ukraine (KHFU) has been established by a group of volunteers, led by Peter Ireland (of Bigjigs Toys) and Dan File (Elham Primary School), and is based in Folkestone, Kent.
Watch this video to discover how an idea, discussed at the school gates one morning, turned into the vast effort that is seen today. From loading lorries with pallets of food, medicine, sanitary and construction items, to organising initiatives in local schools to raise money and drive donations and gifts through ‘Bags of Love’, the team of volunteers has certainly made a difference.
After leaving the donation point in Folkestone, Kent, the lorries make their way across Europe and into Ukraine. With no place to safely call home, KHFU is delivering aid to vulnerable children and their families in hospitals, orphanages and local communities.
How can you help?
Thanks to the generosity of businesses and local communities, KHFU has been able to stock and send 17 lorries into Ukraine. All donations on this JustGiving page will go towards the cost of hiring lorries and purchasing pallets of supplies.
