Millfields Park Football Club was founded in February 2016 to provide opportunities for local boys and girls to access football coaching, organized football matches and other occasional leisure activities in a safe and supportive environment. We aim to develop their individual and team soccer skills and to help develop their self-awareness, confidence and general social skills. The ethos of the club is one of inclusivity and involvement is not dependent on either ability to play or ability to pay! This season we now have three age groups competing in a league under 7s, under 9s and under 11s. By raising additional funds this will allow us to purchase kits, training equipment, pay for organised football matches and more importantly helps sponsor children from families with financial hardship.
