Story

Before the lockdown two years ago due to COVID, St Mirren supporters responded magnificently to the last disabled bucket collection. We raised nearly £1000 in just over an hour. As a result, we were able to subsidise the hire of wheelchair adapted buses to allow our disabled supporters to attend some away matches. We are holding a bucket collection before the Kilmarnock game at the stadium. Every penny of your kind donation to our cause will be used to afford our disabled support the opportunity to add to our already loyal band of away fans.

We have increased our membership dramatically and our activities and efforts have accommodated an ever widening group of supporters who previously have been unable to support their team. To further our mission to embed in the Paisley community, the SMDSA has reached out to people experiencing barriers to access through, sometimes unseen, problems they are experiencing.

Anyone can become disabled through accident or injury and our aim is a simple one. Make it possible for everyone to come and support St Mirren, especially those experiencing difficulty. Please donate generously, either through our bucket collection or our just giving page on facebook. Your kindness and support is greatly apprecated
