I'm raising £3000 to support the return of elephants and their mahouts to their local community.

After Covid forced all the elephant tourism in Thailand to temporarily shut down, the village of Huay Pakkoot faced the huge task of keeping all their elephants fed and healthy with no tourist money coming in.
The HPECF was founded with the goal to raise money to support the elephants and their families, and also offering tours to see the elephants in their natural habitats.
By donating to this fundraiser, you are directly benefitting the families of Huay Pakkoot, increasing the possibility of bringing more elephants back to the forests, and ensuring that those who now live a semi-wild life can stay in their natural environment.
Elephants are incredibly expensive to keep and to feed, so all money goes to the Mahouts (elephant carers), and other community members, with the goal to support the elephants and their families.
Our HPECF Aims:
Returning elephants and their mahouts to their community.
To provide support to local businesses and ensure a self-sustaining economy.
To improve the livelihoods and futures of elephants and their Mahouts.
To create meaningful and stable partnerships with those who share our goals.
